Reference: the words, the situations, and every notice
Vocabulary first, then the six things a first order runs into, then a fetched link to each notice this site leans on.

Reading order for a first order
Start with the split, because it explains why the number you are quoted is not the number you will pay in total. Then read what moves the second payment, because three of those five inputs are measured after your money has gone. Estimate before ordering. After ordering, track purchase progress, QC, after-sales deadlines and the parcel quote.
The six most frequently asked on a first order
The second payment turned out much larger than expected
Compare packed weight, dimensions, route, destination and selected services with your estimate. Volumetric billing or a different line may explain a change; ask support for the actual breakdown.
Whether to wait for one more item
Check the remaining free-storage allowance, after-sales deadline and any paid services. Waiting can change your options even when basic storage is free.
An item was bought from four different shops
Different sellers can charge domestic delivery separately. Review the checkout breakdown and any later purchase adjustment; the number of shops alone does not determine the final total.
One thing in the basket has a battery
Route eligibility is narrowed before price. Ask whether an available line accepts it before ordering; separating it does not override restrictions.
The listing price moved between saving and ordering
The published handling is a payment make-up set against the item's actual value when the order is processed.
Nothing has moved for several days
Check the status message and any request for action. Contact support with the order reference and ask whether purchasing, seller dispatch, warehouse processing or another step is pending.

Reaching a person
Need help with a live order? Not here. Nothing on this domain can see an account or touch an order, so anything with an order number has to go through the operator's own support routes.
Use the source record to check dates, and Help to find the relevant guide or official support route.
